








On January 27, the 33rd Spring in the City Celebrations officially opened at Suntec City. The opening ceremony was filled with a strong festive atmosphere and distinctive elements of Chinese culture.

Exhibition Tour of the 33rd Spring in the City Celebrations









A wide range of cultural exhibitions and interactive booths were set up throughout Suntec City, including calligraphy and ink painting displays, paper-cutting and carving crafts, and fine porcelain showcases, allowing visitors to experience traditional Chinese arts up close.
Guests toured the exhibition booths, personally experiencing the depth of Chinese traditional culture, immersing themselves in the vibrant festive atmosphere, and taking photos to commemorate this unique cultural event.

At the opening ceremony, guests delivered festive greetings and shared reflections on hosting the event over 33 editions, jointly emphasizing the importance of preserving and promoting Chinese culture overseas.

Performance Highlights of the 33rd Spring in the City Celebrations









The opening ceremony officially began with the sound of gongs, followed by a series of performances, including Chinese orchestral music, dance, and traditional folk showcases, which were warmly received by the audience.
In recent years, Ms Lim Teng Lee, President of the Chinese Culture Promotion Society, has actively organized numerous performances, providing platforms for seniors and persons with disabilities to showcase their talents. This reflects the event’s inclusiveness and sense of social responsibility, further enriching the cultural value of the Chinese New Year celebrations.
