Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd was honoured to participate in and support the charity concert “Together for the President’s Challenge – Hearts as One in Celebration of SG60”, organised by Golden Sky Travel and held on 12 December at the Capitol Theatre, Singapore. The event used music as a bond to bring together caring forces from all sectors of society, conveying unity and compassion.
Distinguished guests were in attendance. Guests included the event initiator — Ms Lin Dengli (Photo 3, centre), President of the Singapore Huaxia Cultural Promotion Association and Chairman of Golden Sky Travel & Tours Pte Ltd; H.E. Mr Cao Zhongming (Photo 3, left), Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Singapore; and Mr Chan Soo Sen (Photo 6, left), former Political Office Holder of the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Trade and Industry, as well as former President of the China–Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park; Mr Chew Chao Lai (Photo 7, centre), President of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry; and Mr Fu Xiaohui (Photo 4, left), Chief Representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Singapore Representative Office and Secretary-General of the Association of Chinese Enterprises (Singapore).









The concert brought together numerous local and international artists, youth performers, choirs, and representatives of charitable organisations, interpreting the spirit of unity, inclusiveness, and hope through diverse musical forms.
The organisers also invited many outstanding singers from Singapore and China, as well as artists with special needs, to participate in the performances. The lineup included the Singapore Youth Wind & Percussion Ensemble, traditional and ethnic arts groups, the Singapore Choral Arts Society, and a children’s philharmonic ensemble.
The finale of the concert featured all performers coming together to sing “Home”, using music to interpret the theme of “Hearts as One” and jointly celebrate SG60.
