On December 22, the Singapore Moutai Cup 2025 Singapore–China Golf Friendship Invitational, hosted by the Singapore Guizhou Association and title-sponsored by Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, was grandly held at Seletar Country Club, Singapore.

Bonding over fine liquor, connecting hearts through golf
This tournament brought together entrepreneurs, social leaders, and golf enthusiasts from Singapore and China. Distinguished guests in attendance included the Chairman of Business China (Singapore), Mr. Lee Yi Xian, former Member of Parliament of Singapore (Photo 5, left), and Dr. Yuan Jinrong, President of the Singapore Guizhou Association (Photo 5, right). The atmosphere was solemn yet vibrant, making the occasion truly meaningful.

Moutai’s elegance along the fairways
Golf carts emblazoned with the Moutai brand logo shuttled across the fairways, carrying players from hole to hole and seamlessly weaving Moutai’s classic image into every moment of the tournament. In addition to representatives from business associations and CPPCC-related circles, the event also welcomed well-known Singaporean artiste Desmond Tan (Photo 9), adding star power and popularity to the tournament.

“Little Moutai” tees off — crowds gather at Hole One
As soon as the “Little Moutai” golf-themed standee appeared at Hole One, it quickly became the most popular photo spot on the course. Playful yet premium in design, it attracted many participants to stop and take photos, allowing them to experience the youthful and international side of the Moutai brand through relaxed interactions.

A giant Moutai landmark on the course
At Hole Ten, a towering Moutai balloon bottle installation became a striking feature of the golf course. Participants eagerly took photos here; beyond serving as a course highlight, it became a popular meeting point for interaction and capturing memorable moments, naturally weaving Moutai elements into the overall tournament experience.

Moutai creative cocktails
A dedicated Moutai cocktail welcome area was set up at the venue, featuring two creative cocktails crafted with Moutai as the base spirit — Monday Blue and Moutai Dream — offering a fresh experience in both taste and visual presentation.

Guest speeches
At the evening banquet, the Chairman of Business China (Singapore) and former Member of Parliament of Singapore, Mr. Lee Yi Xian (Photo 2), and the President of the Singapore Guizhou Association, Dr. Yuan Jinrong (Photo 1), delivered speeches respectively, sharing perspectives on Singapore–China exchanges and friendship. Moutai’s product range and Guizhou’s cultural tourism mascot “Huang Xiaoxi” were also showcased on-site, highlighting the richness of Chinese baijiu culture and Guizhou’s unique heritage.

Fine spirits in the glass, kindred spirits at the table
The banquet was well attended, with guests jointly tasting Moutai 1935. Its elegant presentation and rich, mellow flavour drew strong interest. Through conversation, guests gained deeper insights into Moutai’s brand heritage and its diverse portfolio of premium spirits, reflecting growing appreciation for high-end Chinese baijiu. During the award presentation, representatives of Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd presented prizes to the winning golfers, accompanied by warm applause.

“High Mountains and Flowing Water”
During the banquet, guests also enjoyed an immersive presentation of the “High Mountains and Flowing Water” baijiu etiquette ritual originating from Guizhou. As the liquor flows gracefully and emotions rise with each cup, every pour and sip reflects the spirit of Chinese hospitality and the elegance of Eastern ceremonial traditions.
