Council Members
The Founder of the Chinese Baijiu Association (Singapore), Mr. Charles Oon, has appointed the following individuals to serve as the Executive Committee (EXCO) Members of the inaugural CBAS Council. The President, Secretary, and Treasurer will work closely together to oversee the affairs of the Association.
Please note: All office bearers shall serve a term of twelve (12) months from the inception date of CBAS. Upon completion of the term, they will automatically relinquish their positions. The Founder will advise members on the next election date and the corresponding procedures.
Mr. Charles Oon
Chairman
- Mr. Oon has been passionately involved in the marketing and promotion of Chinese baijiu in Singapore since 2004.
- With a practical and down-to-earth approach to management, he has steadily expanded the market reach of baijiu through persistent and focused distribution efforts.
- Beginning with China Moutai red wine, he later introduced Moutai baijiu and gradually gained the trust of other major Chinese baijiu brands, becoming an appointed distributor.
Mr. David Oon
Vice Chairman
- Mr. Oon has been passionately involved in the marketing and promotion of Chinese baijiu in Singapore since 2004.

Mr. Tan Kok Chin
Secretary
- Mr. Tan brings over 18 years of experience in the construction industry and currently serves as Director of Sunray Woodcraft Construction.
- He is known for his creativity in conceptualizing and developing ventures within the leisure and entertainment sectors.
- A strong supporter of Chinese baijiu, Mr. Tan contributes his strategic insights and business acumen to the Association.
Mr. Jeffrey Chan
Treasurer
- Mr. Chan has extensive experience in sales and distribution across Singapore.
- He has worked with both branded and unbranded products in traditional on-premises as well as take-home trade channels.
- A committed advocate of Chinese baijiu, Mr. Chan brings valuable experience in retail and distribution networks to the Council.
The Founder welcomes members who want to contribute to the growth of the Chinese Baijiu Association in Singapore.
