Jointly organized by the Chinese Baijiu Association (Singapore) and the official distributor of Kweichow Moutai in Singapore — Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, with co-organization from the Singapore Weiqi Association, the 2022 5th Moutai Cup Black & White Wisdom Go Invitational Tournament concluded successfully on November 19.
Top Go players gathered under the theme of “Making friends through Go, bonding through Baijiu”, carrying forward the unique culture of “Chess & Liquor.”
On that day, numerous elite players were invited to compete, exchanging skills and promoting cultural dialogue.
Their matches were thrilling, with each move showcasing intelligence and strategy as masters vied for victory.
Every stone placed brought waves of tension and excitement, unfolding matches full of dramatic turns.
Continuing the format from the previous year, the competition featured separate categories for men and women.
After a full day of fierce competition, Jiang Weichen (pictured below, right in Image 3) won the Men’s Championship, while Cen Xi (pictured below, right in Image 2) claimed the Women’s Championship.
In addition, this year’s “Moutai Cup” introduced a special Moutai Knowledge Quiz, featuring fun questions about Moutai.
Participants searched for answers and received exquisite prizes, allowing players to deepen their understanding of Moutai’s origins and culture while enjoying the tournament.
