On January 10, a high-calibre concert bringing together many renowned artists and art groups from Singapore, Beijing, and Guangxi was staged in Singapore.
The concert, themed “An Evening of Folk Songs and Art Songs,” was organised by the Singapore Bel Canto Music & Culture Centre. As one of the important bridges for China–Singapore cultural exchange, Moutai also made its appearance at the event. With a piece of music and a cup of fine liquor, a shared melody of cultural exchange between China and Singapore in 2020 was performed together.
In addition to enjoying elegant and time-honoured music, guests were also treated to a distinctive Moutai cocktail reception presented by Moutai’s Singapore distributor, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, which added a rich cultural dimension to the concert.
At the venue, the aroma of sauce-fragrance baijiu lingered in the air. Two renowned bartenders specially crafted two flavourful cocktails, “Eastern Immersion” and “Antique Elegance,” which instantly won over the guests’ palates. The intoxicating Moutai and graceful music attracted friends from all walks of life in Singapore to gather together, immersing themselves in a sensory feast created by the fusion of traditional Chinese music and fine Moutai liquor, and experiencing the boundless charm of traditional Chinese culture.
The venue was filled to capacity as the concert opened gracefully with the distinctive piece “My Home on the Plateau.” Artists from China and Singapore took turns delivering exquisite performances, with each traditional musical presentation showcasing the infinite allure of Chinese traditional music.
Music intoxicates the soul, and fine liquor leaves a lasting aftertaste. At the beginning of the year 2020, Moutai fine liquor and traditional music met perfectly in Singapore. With their unique appeal, they presented the local audience with a wonderful “cultural feast.” The fragrance of Moutai complemented artistic expressions with Chinese characteristics, enabling audiences to gain a deeper understanding of the profound depth of Chinese culture, while further allowing the distinctive charm of Chinese baijiu to reach more lovers of Chinese culture—thus enabling the Moutai brand image and Moutai culture to be more widely disseminated in Singapore.
