During the tournament, strict safety measures were observed, including scanning SafeEntry QR codes, temperature checks, and the provision of hand sanitiser. Masks were worn throughout the competition, and a safe distance was maintained between teams. On the premise of ensuring event safety, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd continued to promote the competitive spirit of Weiqi. The number of participants this year was also reduced to 40% of previous years. Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd firmly believes in the government’s advocacy of a “new normal of living with COVID-19,” and in gradually remaining open during the pandemic, without the need for further tightening of preventive measures.
