On October 4, the Moutai Tribute · Celebration Banquet for the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China, hosted by Moutai’s Singapore distributor — Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, was grandly held at Fu Man Lou Grand Hotel.

That evening, leaders from departments of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Singapore, Mr Xiao Jianghua, Director of the China Cultural Centre in Singapore and Director of the China National Tourist Office in Singapore, together with representatives from major business associations in Singapore and more than 300 overseas Chinese entrepreneurs, gathered joyfully. Amid the rich aroma of fine liquor, they celebrated the 70th anniversary of New China and expressed their deep affection and best wishes for their ancestral homeland.

Before the banquet began, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd specially invited a renowned local bartender to freshly craft Moutai cocktails for the guests. Drawn by the unique flavours of these creative cocktails, guests stopped by to savour them.

At the venue, a large screen continuously played highlights of the 70th Anniversary National Day Parade of New China, stirring deep emotions and longing for the homeland among overseas Chinese attendees. Subsequently, amid resounding drumbeats, the lights in the banquet hall dimmed, and a distinctive electronic lion dance performance burst onto the stage with powerful movements, setting a joyful and harmonious festive atmosphere for the evening.

The entire event unfolded in an atmosphere that was both solemn and passionate. From the festive Mongolian dance performances in vibrant red costumes, to poetry recitations filled with the patriotic sentiments of overseas Chinese, local opera performances, and a series of patriotic song flash performances—including renowned singer Mao Wei singing “Me and My Motherland,” a violin performance of “I Love You, China,” singer Cheng Xiaogang’s medley “The Nation” and “My Chinese Heart,” and a guzheng and pipa ensemble performing “I Love You, China”—each segment showcased the love of local overseas Chinese for their motherland and traditional culture, perfectly presenting the grand spirit of nationwide celebration.

In addition, to further bring Moutai into the daily lives of more overseas Chinese and Singaporean friends, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd offered Moutai liquor as prizes in the lucky draw segment, presenting heartfelt festive blessings to the overseas Chinese present.
