The “2018 Qin–Jin Friendship Lunar New Year Luncheon,” jointly organised by the Singapore Jin Merchants Association and the Singapore Shaanxi Association, was grandly held at Wan Hing Restaurant on March 3 at noon. The event opened with resounding drumbeats, energetic lion dances, and graceful dance performances, setting a jubilant tone for the celebration. Jin merchant leaders from around the world and friends from various sectors gathered for this lively New Year reunion luncheon. Mr. Yun was invited to attend the banquet in his capacity as a sponsor.

At the 2018 Qin–Jin Friendship Lunar New Year Luncheon, Moutai, Wuliangye, and Guojiao 1573 sponsored by Singapore China Baijiu Company were presented across a total of 50 tables — a powerful testament to the commitment to promoting premium Chinese baijiu!

The event welcomed up to 500 guests, including many prominent figures from the political and business communities who came to extend their congratulations.

During the “2018 Qin–Jin Friendship Lunar New Year Luncheon,” Mr. Yun raised his glass and took photos with leading figures from the political and business circles.

Above is a photo of former Senior Minister of State for Education and Member of Parliament, Mr. Zeng Shisheng, with Mr. Yun;

and Mr. Yun Weilon, President of the Singapore China Baijiu Association (1st from right).

The bond between Qin and Jin has a long and storied history, and their friendship has long been celebrated as a fine tradition. On this festive occasion, the Qin–Jin Friendship Lunar New Year event welcomed former Minister of State for Manpower and Trade & Industry, Member of Parliament Mr. Zaqy Mohamad (above), as the Guest of Honour. Mr. Yun exchanged name cards with Mr. Zaqy, looking ahead to 2018 together and expressing hopes to contribute jointly to economic and cultural exchanges between Singapore and China.

Mr. Ming Hailong, President of the Singapore Jin Merchants Association (below), took the stage to deliver a speech, reviewing the association’s activities organised and co-organised in 2017, while also outlining its goals for 2018. In fostering and promoting Singapore–China friendship and spreading Chinese culture, Chinese baijiu is, of course, an indispensable element. Let us raise a glass and work together!

May this rich aroma of fine baijiu open our hearts and tighten the bonds of friendship!

The most anticipated moment of every banquet is often the lucky draw! The first prize of the “Qin–Jin Friendship Lunar New Year” event was Moutai, Wuliangye, and Guojiao 1573! Congratulations to this lovely lucky winner — may your life be as rich and fragrant as fine baijiu, your days harmonious and fulfilling, and may good fortune flow endlessly!
