“Cultural Moutai” Supports Southeast Asian Go Tournament, Bringing the Fragrance of Chinese Culture to Lion City!

On December 15, 2019, the First Southeast Asian Go Congress, organized by the Singapore Weiqi Association and proudly sponsored by Moutai distributor Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, was grandly inaugurated at the Asian Civilizations Museum along the Singapore River.

As the first Southeast Asian Go Congress held in Singapore, the event received strong support from the China Weiqi Association, the World Go Organization, Moutai China, and the Asian Civilisations Museum. That evening, distinguished guests including Chang Hao, Vice Chairman of the China Weiqi Association and World Champion; Michael Redmond, representative of the Japan Go Organization; Murakawa Daisuke, current Japanese titleholder; Professor Tian Yinhe, founder of the Singapore Weiqi Association; Dr. Huang Shangzhe, Honorary President of the Singapore Weiqi Association; and Yun Weilong, President of the Singapore China Baijiu Association and Chairman of Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, attended the opening celebration. Together with over 300 Go enthusiasts, they enjoyed the joy of the game and savored the profound aroma of Moutai, the original master of Chinese sauce-aroma Baijiu, witnessing a grand feast of cultural exchange that perfectly blended traditional Chinese culture.

At the opening ceremony, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, as a key sponsor of the event, also introduced Moutai and a selection of Moutai cocktails for guests to enjoy. Through exquisitely crafted cocktails of diverse flavors and elegant appearances, Moutai showcased its premium quality and rich cultural connotations, allowing friends from all walks of life to gain a comprehensive appreciation of the profound heritage of Chinese Baijiu culture.
