On the evening of September 6, the 5th Presidential Handover, Board Installation, and New Member Induction Ceremony of the Singapore Xi Yuan International Lions Club was held as scheduled at the Shangri-La Hotel. As one of the event sponsors, Moutai’s Singapore distributor — Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd was honoured to attend the banquet, gathering with friends from all sectors of society to support this meaningful charitable occasion.
At the ceremony, witnessed by numerous Lions Club members, philanthropic organisations, and caring individuals, Ms Zhao Yanni, the 5th President of the Singapore Xi Yuan International Lions Club, formally received the ceremonial gavel and club flag, completing a solemn and dignified handover.
It is understood that since joining the Xi Yuan International Lions Club, President Zhao Yanni has been actively involved in various charitable initiatives. In 2017, she participated in organising a group of friends from different sectors to travel to Yunnan, China, to donate funds and learning supplies. This grand event therefore symbolised not only a celebration, but also the passing on of responsibility and mission.
A rose given leaves a lingering fragrance in the hand. That evening, the banquet hall was filled with the rich aroma of Moutai. Guests raised their glasses amid the mellow fragrance, celebrating the successful completion of the ceremony. Many guests also expressed appreciation for Moutai’s continued support of local charitable causes, further enhancing the brand’s image and reputation.
