Awards Gala
On August 13, the “Meet in Lion City, Martial Arts Move the World” and “Belt and Road” Singapore International Cultural Festival and the 5th Singapore International Martial Arts Competition grandly commenced at the Singapore Sports School. The venue was bright and spacious, filled with a magnificent atmosphere. As the sponsor of this competition, Moutai distributor—Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd—was committed to promoting Chinese culture, carrying forward the essence of Chinese martial arts, and bringing martial arts culture to the international stage.
The Awards Gala for the “Meet in Lion City, Martial Arts Move the World” and “Belt and Road” Singapore International Cultural Festival and the 5th Singapore International Martial Arts Competition was held on the evening after the competition. The gala featured renowned Singaporean tenor Mr. Zhuang Jie, famous Singaporean guzheng virtuoso Ms. Yang Huicong, well-known Chinese Huangmei opera actress Ms. Hu Feifei, as well as martial arts masters and world champions from Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and other regions, all taking the stage to add brilliance to this martial arts grand event. The gala dinner also extended gratitude to all participants of the competition.





The host, Mr. Hu Gang, prepared a variety of traditional Chinese performances. The guzheng performance by renowned Singaporean guzheng artist Ms. Yang Huicong flowed like a gentle stream through the valleys, splashing beautiful and refreshing droplets; the Huangmei opera excerpt “A Female Prince Writes with a Brush” performed by famous Chinese Huangmei opera actress Ms. Hu Feifei was graceful and elegant, simple yet refined; the songs “O Sole Mio” and “Chinese Kung Fu” performed by renowned Singaporean tenor Mr. Zhuang Jie showcased his wide vocal range and bright timbre, expressing both passion and grandeur. In addition, martial arts performances were presented by representatives from Indonesia, Malaysia, China, and Singapore.





During the gala dinner, Mr. Yun Weilong, President of the Singapore China Baijiu Association and Chairman of Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, presented the “Best Participating Family Award.” As the sponsor, Moutai provided Moutai gift baskets as prizes.



Tonight was a splendid martial arts feast. Chinese martial arts uphold justice and protect the weak, a spirit we will always admire; their profoundness and breadth inspire us to strive continuously. Chinese martial arts embody our determination to never give up and our pursuit of resilience and perseverance.
