Gathering in Singapore, Celebrating the New Year Together

Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd is honored to be one of the sponsors of the Singapore Tianfu Association Chinese New Year Gathering 2026, its 26th Anniversary Celebration, and the Wang Laoshi Academy Scholarship Award Ceremony, joining distinguished guests in this grand occasion.

The event was successfully held on 13 March, with a full house and a warm yet dignified atmosphere. The Guest of Honour was Mr. Chee Hong Tat, Minister for National Development and Chairman of the Chinese Community Liaison Group (front centre). Former President of the Tianfu Association, Mr. Du Zhiqiang (front left 6), was also present in support. Representatives from various business associations, cultural groups, and community leaders gathered to reconnect and exchange ideas for future development.

Moutai in Mixology: A Modern Expression of Eastern Flavours

At the event, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd specially presented Moutai cocktails, bringing a modern creative twist to traditional baijiu. Two signature creations—Monday Blue and Moutai Dream—were crafted using Kweichow Moutai as the base, blended with fruity and refreshing notes to offer a more international flavour profile. Guests experienced a new side of Chinese baijiu through this unique tasting.

Classic Showcase: A Journey Through Time

A dedicated Moutai showcase was set up at the venue, featuring a range of classic and premium expressions, including Kweichow Moutai Flying Fairy, Aged Kweichow Moutai (15, 30, and 50 years), as well as Year of the Rabbit and Year of the Dragon Zodiac Commemorative Liquor. The display attracted continuous interest, with guests stopping by to admire and take photos.
Distinguished guests included Mr. Hu Junhui PBM, President of the Tianfu Association (Photo 3, right 2), and Mr. Zhang Chunhua BBM, Vice President (Photo 7, left 2).

Bridging Communities Through Baijiu

In his speech, Mr. Chee Hong Tat (Photo 5) highlighted the Tianfu Association’s long-standing efforts in promoting community integration and cultural exchange, serving as an important platform connecting locals and new immigrants.


Mr. Hu Junhui PBM (Photo 4) also expressed his hope to foster deeper understanding and stronger bonds among people from different backgrounds, helping new immigrants better integrate into society and contributing to a more inclusive and diverse community.

A Night of Recognition and Celebration

The evening also marked a special moment—Mr. Charles Oon of Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd was awarded the title of “Honorary President” by Mr. Hu Junhui PBM (Photo 3). This recognition represents not only an honor, but also a responsibility and expectation for the future.
The event featured a vibrant lineup of performances, including elegant cello music, lively children’s acts, entertaining magic shows, and vocal performances that brought the atmosphere to its peak. It was a night where art and emotion intertwined, creating unforgettable memories.

Giving Back Through Education

During the event, the Tianfu Association donated SGD 50,000 to the Toa Payoh West–Thomson Citizens’ Consultative Committee Community Development and Welfare Fund, supporting student assistance programmes at Toa Payoh West Community Club.

At the same time, Ms. Wang Jie (Photo 1, left 1), founder of Wang Laoshi Academy, together with the Tianfu Association, presented the “Tianfu Association – Wang Laoshi Academy” scholarships to over 80 members’ children, recognising their academic excellence and good character. Red packets were also distributed to the children during the dinner, sharing festive blessings and warmth.
