Baijiu Collection | Moutai Bingwu Year of the Horse Zodiac Edition EP1
Moutai zodiac series is released once a year. It is not just a bottle of baijiu, but a symbol of time and continuity of value.
The traditional Chinese sexagenary cycle (Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches) completes one full rotation every 60 years. This year is the Bingwu Year of the Horse:
“Bing” represents Fire, symbolizing the sun, bright, intense, and powerful.
“Wu” represents the Horse, speed, strength, and forward momentum.
The Fire Horse year reflects energy, drive, and a spirit of progress. This is why the zodiac edition is not only a collectible, but also a symbol of time and cultural inheritance.

If a baijiu could represent an “imperial aura,” it would likely be the Nine-Dragon Altar.
Wuliangye • Nine-Dragon Altar is a super-premium 52% ABV strong-aroma baijiu. Inspired by the Nine-Dragon Wall in the Forbidden City, nine soaring dragons encircle the altar body. In Chinese culture, the dragon symbolises not only power, but also nobility and auspiciousness.
This is not an ordinary “bottle,” but an altar vessel—more like a collectible art piece meant for display. It is often presented as a pair with the “Phoenix Altar,” symbolising harmony between dragon and phoenix. In high-end gifting and banquet settings, it conveys a strong sense of ceremony and presence.

Bringing Eastern aesthetics into a single vessel—Xijiu • Mirror of the East.
Inspired by the concepts of “round heaven and square earth” and symmetrical reflection, the design draws from traditional Eastern architecture and imperial courtyard layouts, expressing an immediate sense of refined Chinese elegance. Displayed as an art piece, it stands as a collectible; poured into a glass, it reveals a classic expression of sauce-aroma baijiu.
Crafted using selected Kunsha base liquor, the spirit is rich, elegant, and well-structured, with distinct layers. It is suitable for slow appreciation as well as long-term collection. Rooted in the philosophy of “Gentleman’s character, Eastern Xijiu,” it is more than a spirit—it is a presentation of Eastern refinement and aesthetic expression.

A bottle of Moutai that brings together fine baijiu and Chinese calligraphy.
Introduced in 2012, Moutai · Nine Dragons Calligraphy Collection is crafted primarily with 15-year-aged Moutai base liquor, with limited editions also available in 30-year and 80-year expressions. Rich, elegant, and layered in character, it offers both drinking enjoyment and collectible value.
Presented in a rosewood gift box featuring nine dragons amidst auspicious clouds, and housed in a gold-accented glazed ceramic bottle, it resembles an Eastern art piece as much as a fine spirit.
What makes this collection especially distinctive is the inclusion of the authentic Nine Dragons Scroll, featuring calligraphy works by renowned masters including Xie Yun, Quan Xijun, Zhang Gaiqin, Wei Keyi, Yu Xiaoshan, Zhong Mingshan, and Chen Yongzheng. Each set is accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, with the scroll’s opening inscription written by the esteemed scholar Wen Huaisha.

In collaboration with the Sanxingdui Museum, Jian Nan Chun introduced this collectible cultural edition baijiu, combining the iconic image of the Bronze Standing Figure from the ancient Shu civilisation with traditional baijiu-making craftsmanship.
Through this expression of Jian Nan Chun, the brand pays tribute to China’s enduring cultural heritage in its own unique way.
History is preserved, culture is carried forward, and the Bronze Standing Figure continues to stand timelessly, witnessing the passage of generations.

Xi Jiu · Ming Pin is crafted using the traditional 53% ABV daqu sauce-aroma baijiu process. Produced within the renowned brewing region of the Chishui River Valley, it follows time-honoured techniques and is blended with carefully aged base spirits.
The result is a baijiu with a pronounced sauce aroma, elegant aged notes, a rich and balanced palate, and a long, lingering finish.

The phrase “A royal spirit of the Tang Dynasty, Jiannanchun today” may already hold the answer.
Today, we’re taking a look at Royal Jiannanchun.
Inspired by the imperial wine culture of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, it features a red-glazed bottle paired with a palace-gate-style gift box. Opening the box feels almost like stepping through the gates of the Tang Dynasty.
Crafted using the heritage techniques of Tianyi Laohào, a nationally recognised living heritage cellar complex, it uses Qiongdingshan glacial snowmelt water and multiple grains, with aged baijiu carefully blended to create an elegant aged aroma and rich cellar fragrance.
The bottle also comes with a pair of traditional imperial-style enamel cups — one inscribed “Boundless Longevity” and the other “Everlasting Prosperity” — adding a touch of Tang Dynasty elegance to every toast.

This time, it’s no longer confined to ancient paintings — it comes vividly to life on the bottle.
Xijiu · Dunhuang Nine-Coloured Deer draws inspiration from the legendary Nine-Coloured Deer depicted in the thousand-year-old Dunhuang murals, symbolising benevolence, kindness, and auspiciousness in Chinese culture.
The stone-blue bottle is adorned with gilded motifs of flying apsaras and auspicious clouds, while a three-dimensional Nine-Coloured Deer is hidden inside the cap. As light moves across the bottle, it feels as though the romance of a thousand years of Dunhuang has been captured in a single piece.

The poetry immortal Li Bai’s legendary drinking gatherings continue, a thousand years later~
Jiannanchun · Gilded Era draws inspiration from the Tang Dynasty gold and silver treasures unearthed from the Hejia Village Hoard in Xi’an, bringing the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty into a single bottle.
And here’s the fun part — the bottle can be taken apart! Its 200ml + 375ml modular design allows the two sections to be separated or combined. Even after the baijiu is enjoyed, the bottle can be kept as a Tang-inspired decorative art piece.
This 52% ABV strong-aroma baijiu features lotus-petal and auspicious mythical-beast motifs crafted using traditional metal engraving techniques, along with elements inspired by Li Bai’s famous poem Bring in the Wine.
