Flying Fairy Moutai Tasting Event at Hongqi Singapore

On 15 October, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd partnered with Hongqi, a premium Chinese automotive brand, to host a Flying Fairy Moutai tasting event at the Hongqi Singapore showroom. The event brought together Chinese baijiu culture and the experience of Chinese luxury automobiles, showcasing the distinctive appeal of Chinese brands.

The cross-industry event welcomed distinguished guests and provided an opportunity for Chinese brands to connect, bringing fresh energy to the promotion of Chinese culture in Singapore.

Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd presented two creative Flying Fairy Moutai cocktails that evening: Moutai Blue (Monday Blue) and Moutai Dream. The drinks offered guests a fresh and innovative tasting experience.

Moutai Blue featured a clear blue colour, a refreshing taste, and subtle citrus notes. Moutai Dream, in a bright orange hue, combined fresh fruity aromas with a sweet-and-sour flavour profile, offering a different taste experience.

By combining traditional sauce-aroma baijiu with modern mixology, these creative cocktails introduced new ways to enjoy Flying Fairy Moutai and highlighted the potential of Chinese baijiu across a variety of occasions.

Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd also set up a Moutai display area at the Hongqi Singapore showroom, allowing guests to take a closer look at a range of renowned Chinese baijiu products.

The collection included Kweichow Flying Fairy Moutai, 15, 30 and 50 Years Vintage Kweichow Moutai, Moutai Boutique, Moutai Treasure, Sanhua Flying Fairy, Shengyue Flying Fairy, Moutai 1935, Moutai Banquet Red, and the Year of the Dragon and Year of the Snake zodiac limited editions.

The diverse selection showcased the breadth of Kweichow Moutai’s product range and added to the rich Chinese baijiu cultural atmosphere of the event.

During the event, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd conducted a Moutai Masterclass, offering guests a deeper understanding of Chinese sauce-aroma baijiu and its culture.

Mr David Oon, General Manager of Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd led the tasting session, introducing the production techniques, distinctive sauce aroma, and tasting methods of Flying Fairy Moutai. He guided guests through observing the baijiu’s colour, appreciating its aroma, and tasting its flavour to discover its distinctive characteristics.

The tasting event not only gave guests an opportunity to learn more about Moutai culture through interactive exchanges, but also encouraged cross-industry engagement among Chinese brands. It provided a valuable platform for promoting Chinese baijiu culture and expanding market awareness in Singapore.
