On the occasion of the Dragon Boat Festival, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd specially held the “Fragrant Rice Dumplings for the Dragon Boat Festival” dumpling-making activity. As a traditional festival of the Chinese nation, the Dragon Boat Festival carries the homesickness of Chinese friends. Under the teacher’s hands-on guidance, the Chinese friends present were reminded of their childhood memories, turning the flavors of their memories into handmade creations, bringing them great joy.
This time, we also specially invited friends from Switzerland, Germany, and India to join. In such a multicultural place as Singapore, we hope to contribute to promoting cultural exchange through practical cultural experience activities.
From learning about the history of the Dragon Boat Festival, smelling the fragrance of bamboo leaves, recognizing the fillings, to mastering wrapping techniques, participants from various countries were enthusiastic. After tying the knots by hand and completing the dumplings, everyone excitedly took photos as mementos.
Tasting both sweet and savory rice dumplings, everyone’s taste buds were delighted, and lively conversations followed.
