A Heartfelt Mid-Autumn | Moutai Sends Warm Wishes to the Chinese Community, with the Aroma of Fine Liquor Filling Lion City

Time flies. Before we realise it, most of the challenging year of 2020 has passed, and Mid-Autumn Festival has arrived once again. In previous years, Moutai’s Singapore distributor — Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd — would host large-scale events, allowing “Moutai fans” in Singapore to experience a strong sense of Chinese culture. Amid laughter and cheer, everyone raised their glasses together, immersed in a rich and distinctive festive atmosphere.

Unfortunately, this year, due to the impact of the pandemic and for everyone’s safety, we are unable to gather as we did in the past. Instead, we will celebrate the festival with the Chinese community in Singapore in a different way. In fact, the new normal of life under the pandemic has made the meaning of Mid-Autumn Festival — “a full moon and family reunion” — even more profound.

On September 25, as the Mid-Autumn Festival approached, Moutai’s Singapore distributor — Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd — organised a themed cultural event, celebrating the festival with the Chinese community in Singapore in a special way, and passing on the outstanding culture of the Chinese nation through unique festive rituals. During this special period of the pandemic, although we may be physically apart, our hearts remain close.

It is also worth mentioning that this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival coincided with the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. On this occasion, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, on behalf of China Moutai, wishes everyone a joyful celebration of both festivals. In addition, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd also congratulates Singapore and China on celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year. The COVID-19 pandemic has made this milestone year even more special.
