Opening Celebration Banquet
That evening, President Yun Weilon of the Singapore China Baijiu Association thoughtfully hosted a grand opening celebration banquet. Distinguished guests including former Senior Minister of State for Education Mr. Zeng Shisheng and former Member of Parliament Dr. Wang Jiayuan attended, together with over 300 guests who love Wuliangye and Chinese liquor culture.

Singapore is renowned for its multicultural society. A dance, a musical instrument, a song — each carries a unique cultural flavor. At last Thursday’s banquet, performances ranging from Malay dance and Indian drums to bagpipe music allowed guests from both sides to experience diverse cultural expressions within just minutes. The broad smiles on the guests’ faces were the best response to this warm and distinctive welcome.
At the opening celebration banquet of the Singapore China Wuliangye Specialty Store, the most thrilling moment was undoubtedly the plaque presentation ceremony. This represented an official and authoritative recognition from China’s Wuliangye to Singapore — a truly historic and unprecedented moment.
