Lucky Plaza Shopping Centre is located along Orchard Road, Singapore’s luxury shopping belt, yet it is also the only mall on Orchard Road that caters to budget shoppers. It sells casual clothing, simple accessories, sunglasses, low-end watches, sweets and chocolates, souvenirs, second-hand books, and medical products. There are also many shops selling branded perfumes at prices much lower than those found in typical shopping malls. Some perfume stores at Lucky Plaza even sell sample-sized branded perfumes, making it a great place to try different scents at a lower cost.
Lucky Plaza was built in 1981, so its facilities are not the most modern. However, I find that exploring and discovering its many unconventional shops is part of the fun.
