On January 4th, sponsored by Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, the 2025 “Wisdom in Black and White” Moutai Cup Go Invitational Tournament was successfully held at the Bishan clubhouse of the Singapore Weiqi Association.
Many Go enthusiasts and elite players gathered together to “make friends through Go, and connect through Baijiu,” joining hands to promote the unique “Go and Baijiu” cultural spirit.

On the day of the tournament, Mr. Yun Weilong, Chairman of Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, Mr. Tan Ding Chuan, President of the Singapore Weiqi Association, and Head Coach Mr. Yang Jinhua were present to witness the elegant displays of skill by the players and to show their support.

The tournament continued its traditional format of separate men’s and women’s divisions. After a full day of intense competition, the top three winners in each category were decided. Throughout the matches, the players remained focused and composed, demonstrating outstanding skill and grace.

Mr. Yun Weilong, Mr. Tan Ding Chuan, and Mr. Yang Jinhua presented the awards to the winners, recognizing their excellent performances while also celebrating the ongoing legacy and elevation of the “Go and Baijiu” culture.

Every move made on the Go board stirred a storm of wisdom and strategy; every exchange on and off the field was a fusion of culture and friendship. This invitational tournament not only offered a platform for players to sharpen their skills but also painted a refined cultural picture, blending the intelligence of Go with the elegance of Baijiu.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to every participant for their enthusiastic involvement, which made this cultural event even more brilliant. Looking ahead, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd looks forward to walking this journey together with you, continuing to preserve and promote the distinctive charm of “Go and Baijiu” culture.
