On September 27, a delegation led by Mr. Luo Xiaosong, Standing Committee Member of the Renhuai Municipal Party Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor of Renhuai Municipal People’s Government, visited Singapore. Mr. Yun Weilong, Chairman of Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, President of the Singapore China Baijiu Association, and President of the Singapore Guizhou Chamber of Commerce, hosted a banquet in their honor.
A Landmark Witness, Discussing Cooperation
In addition to Mr. Luo Xiaosong, the main members of the delegation included: Mr. Zhang Jiebo, Director of Enterprise Services at Renhuai Economic Development Zone; Mr. Wang Yongqiang, Deputy Director of the Renhuai Bureau of Industry, Energy and Science & Technology; and Mr. Shang Hai, Deputy Director of the Renhuai Bureau of Culture and Tourism. Mr. Zeng Shisheng, former Senior Minister of State for Education and Trade & Industry of Singapore and the first CEO of the China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park, was invited to attend.
In their presence, Mr. He Weihua of Renhuai Sauce-flavored Liquor Co., Ltd. and Mr. Yun Weilong signed a memorandum of intent for the promotion of Renhuai Sauce-flavored Liquor. Both parties looked forward to deepening cooperation and exchanges in multiple fields such as the liquor industry, winery construction, tourism development, technological innovation, and cultural creativity.
After the signing ceremony, both sides exchanged gifts, expressing their deep friendship and shared hope for continued cultural exchange through baijiu.


Diversity Gathered, Friendship Lasts Forever
The baijiu cultural journey has long been an effort by Mr. Yun Weilong to help Singaporean friends gain a deeper understanding of baijiu culture. During this year’s trip, the baijiu fans also had the honor of meeting Mayor Luo. This visit further strengthened the friendship between both sides. In his speech, Mayor Luo also expressed his expectation for long-term friendly exchanges.

The welcome banquet showcased Singapore’s multicultural characteristics. The Malay kompang performance, with its distinctive drumbeats, was specially arranged as an entrance ceremony to warmly welcome the guests.


A Malay Silat martial arts demonstration displayed strength, while an Indian dance performance conveyed celebration and joy, adding unique color to the evening.


At the banquet, the atmosphere was warm and lively, with guests enjoying themselves and laughter filling the air. Accompanied by delicious cuisine and the rich aroma of baijiu, guests engaged in heartfelt conversations.



With the clinking of glasses, both sides pledged to work hand in hand to promote and exchange baijiu culture, envisioning future cooperation.


Together, everyone wished for wonderful achievements in the collaborations to come, further deepening the friendship and cultural exchange between the two places.
