Delicate wine glasses and tasting notes were neatly arranged on the long table, while the restaurant was filled with the unique fragrance of baijiu. A total of five types of baijiu — Kweichow Moutai, Wuliangye, Guojiao 1573, Moutai Golf Liquor, and Xijiu — were presented one by one. Participants carefully tasted, evaluated the rich flavors and aromas, recorded their observations and feelings, and exchanged their experiences with one another. This deepened their understanding of baijiu and enhanced engagement in the tasting event.

Lauri, a senior manager from Finland in the beverages department, was very interested in the baijiu-making process shared in the class. He noted that although baijiu is well-known, it is not common in Europe. When he moved to Asia in 2012, he realized that baijiu is a very important and promising product. He added that Singapore is a multicultural country, and Moutai can pair well with foods from various cultures.

Shawn tried baijiu for the first time. He was delighted that he could share baijiu knowledge with his friends in the future and said he would strongly recommend them to try baijiu as well.

James mentioned that he and his friends also drink baijiu at gatherings, usually Kweichow Moutai, but next time he would recommend his friends to try other baijiu brands.
