Safeguarding “food safety on the tip of the tongue” with care — a big thumbs up to all F&B professionals!

No matter when, food is the people’s first necessity.
Only good food should never be taken for granted.
Those wonderful flavours and beautiful presentations
are all made possible by the tireless dedication of people in the food and beverage industry.

Beyond crafting delicious dishes,
in the face of this sudden pneumonia outbreak,
every member of the F&B community has gone the extra mile
to safeguard “food safety on the tip of the tongue.”

On the evening of March 5, Mr Zhang Zhinong, owner of Blue Label Marina Music-Themed Restaurant, Mr Ma Longyun, founder of Hongyun Media, and more than ten friends gathered at Marina Bay Live Seafood Restaurant at Clarke Quay, Singapore, to enjoy fine food and wine while sharing heartfelt conversations.

During the gathering, Mr Huang Chenggui, owner of Marina Bay Live Seafood Restaurant, shared that this extraordinary period has had a certain impact on various industries in Singapore, including the F&B sector. However, with the Singapore government continuously strengthening its pandemic control measures, he believes everything will soon return to normal. Since Singapore recorded its first pneumonia case, the restaurant has consistently tightened its standards for ingredient freshness and environmental hygiene, creating a healthy and comfortable dining environment so that customers can dine with confidence and peace of mind.

During the pandemic, to meet the needs of food lovers, many Chinese restaurants in Singapore successively launched takeaway services. Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd also actively participated by organising a “Order Takeaway, Get Fine Liquor” initiative to show support and encouragement. Let us work together, face the situation positively, and cooperate with the Singapore government’s policies in the fight against the pandemic. We believe that sunshine comes after the storm, and dawn is not far ahead.
