9 August 2017 marked Singapore’s 52nd National Day. In celebration of this festive occasion, Singapore Moutai Baijiu Company had long prepared multiple bottles of Moutai to share the joy with everyone. At Chuan Yuan Restaurant in Chinatown, Xie Lao Song Restaurant, and Marina Bay Live Seafood Restaurant at Clarke Quay, rows of beautiful flags were hung high — featuring the Singapore national flag, National Day logo, Moutai logo, and Moutai bottles — adding a fresh and vibrant splash of color to the National Day celebrations.

We arrived early at Chuan Yuan Restaurant to get everything ready~

A beautiful lady from Thailand became the first passerby to taste Moutai here~
She exclaimed in surprise, saying she had never tasted such a fragrant baijiu before!

This couple was absolutely adorable — they even clinked glasses in front of the camera~

These friends too — after clinking glasses, they drank it all in one go,
truly showing the spirit of baijiu drinking!

During the event, we welcomed many international friends who developed a strong interest in Chinese baijiu.
For most of them, it was their first time tasting Chinese baijiu,
and many foreigners expressed that they really liked Moutai!

We wonder if this foreign friend, after tasting Moutai,
fell asleep that night accompanied by its lingering aroma~

At the entrance of Chuan Yuan Restaurant, passersby were drawn in by the fragrance of the liquor,
stopping to smell, to taste,
and to experience what it truly means when we say “the aroma of the national liquor fills the air.”

At the same time, our Xie Lao Song team was also fully prepared

A photo of Chairman Oon with the ceremonial hostesses —
the photo is filled with festive joy!

Just look at the bright red colors and radiant smiles —
a sign that this event was destined to be a great success!

The event kicked off with a beauty —
this long-legged lady was no stranger to baijiu,
she is definitely a true Moutai fan!

After tasting the baijiu, this young gentleman kept blowing air from his mouth,
saying he never expected Chinese baijiu to be so “HOT”!

This friend from Russia, no stranger to strong spirits,
fell in love with Moutai after just one sip,
and even asked if he could have another round~
He also tried the snack prepared by Xie Lao Song —
spicy crayfish — drinking baijiu while eating crayfish was absolutely satisfying!

这张图片里面有各个国家的人哦,
他们都一一品尝了我们的茅台酒,
当场就买了一瓶带回他们的旅店了~

This handsome young man holding a bottle of Moutai said
he loved its taste,
and felt it had a very fragrant grain aroma.

I must especially mention this lovely elderly gentleman from the United States —
he came with a walking cane!
After drinking Moutai, he was overjoyed,
saying he never expected Chinese baijiu to be so delicious,
and even praised Chinese history and culture.
While taking photos, he held both the Moutai glass and bottle,
completely forgetting about his leg pain.

Over at Marina Bay Live Seafood, the venue was all set too~

Looking at the beautifully decorated scene — truly stunning!

Moutai Bro (center) and the restaurant owner Yi Gui (left),
together with their friend (right), came to show their support!

So many handsome men and beautiful ladies tasting the liquor!
The national liquor’s aroma travels far and wide, reaching the international stage.
This is not just a slogan —
it is something we Moutai people have always been striving for!

Tasting baijiu brings out all kinds of expressions —
for many who have never tried Chinese baijiu,
the first sip often reveals the most honest reaction.
Not everyone can immediately accept the strong intensity,
but this gentleman said the experience was very interesting!

We hope this wonderful night filled with the aroma of fine spirits
will remain in your memories for a long, long time~

Two very cute handsome guys — does Moutai smell good?

Outside Marina Bay Live Seafood, in such a beautiful setting,
beneath our fluttering flags,
with a cool breeze and gentle sipping,
this must have been a truly unforgettable memory~

Look at those radiant smiles —
they truly enjoyed drinking Moutai!
Thank you, Singapore, and thank you China Moutai,
for allowing us overseas Chinese
to experience the rich aroma of the national liquor even here in Lion City.
Happy Birthday, Singapore! 🇸🇬
