Board of Directors Installation New Member Induction
On 30 August, Singapore Cherish Lions Club 2026/2027 Board of Directors Installation New Member Induction Charity Dinner was held at Goodwood Park Hotel, Singapore.
Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd was honoured to attend the event and sponsor Moutai cocktails as well as Kweichow Moutai for the VIP tables. Together with the distinguished guests, we witnessed the installation of the new Board of Directors and supported the evening’s fundraising efforts. A Moutai display area and baijiu cocktail were also set up, bringing the charm of Chinese baijiu culture to the event.
Guests Arrive for an Evening of Charity
Invited guests arrived throughout the evening, signing in and taking commemorative photos at the event backdrop. These memorable moments marked the beginning of a charity gala dedicated to kindness, friendship, and giving back to the community.

Moutai Showcase Draws Attention
Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd presented a Moutai display featuring a range of products, including Kweichow Moutai, Aged Moutai 15-Year, 30-Year and 50-Year Series, Moutai Treasure, Moutai Rare Series, Sanhua Flying Fairy, Shengyue Flying Fairy, Moutai 1935, Moutai Banquet Red, Dragon Year and Snake Year Zodiac Series.
The display attracted many visitors, who stopped to learn more about the products, take photographs, and explore the heritage and culture behind the Moutai brand.
Moutai Cocktails Add a Unique Touch to the Evening
A dedicated Moutai cocktail experience area was also set up, featuring two signature cocktails: Monday Blue and Moutai Dream.
Combining traditional Chinese baijiu with modern cocktail creativity, the drinks attracted considerable interest from guests. Many were experiencing Moutai cocktails for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by the flavours, gaining a new appreciation for the versatility of baijiu.
A Diverse Beverage Experience
In addition to Moutai products, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd also showcased a selection of international spirits and Japanese sake, offering guests a broader appreciation of different drinking cultures.
The variety of beverages on display encouraged interaction and discussion, reflecting Singapore’s multicultural and international character.
New Board Officially Takes Office
Following the start of the charity dinner, invited speakers delivered their addresses. This was followed by the President Handover Ceremony and the New Member Induction Ceremony.
Members of the newly elected Board then took the stage to make their pledge, officially beginning a new year of service and charitable work.
A charity fundraising programme was held during the dinner, with guests making donations in support of community causes. Flowers were also presented to performers as a gesture of encouragement and appreciation.
More than ten thousand dollars was raised during the event, with the proceeds designated to support individuals and groups in need.
Following the fundraising segment, former Presidents Ms Li Na and Mr Yang Zhou took the stage to thank supporters and celebrate the success of the fundraising efforts with a toast of Moutai.
Recognising Partners in Charity
A sponsor appreciation and award presentation ceremony was held during the evening. Ms Chen Hong, Charter President of Singapore Cherish Lions Club, presented certificates of appreciation to supporting organisations in recognition of their contributions to the charity dinner and community initiatives.
As one of the event sponsors, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd was honoured to receive a certificate of appreciation. The recognition reflected the collective efforts of businesses and community partners in supporting charitable causes and spreading kindness.
Charity Performances Bring Warmth to the Evening
The fundraising programme featured a variety of performances, including violin recitals by young musicians, vocal performances, professional singers, and belly dancing.
These performances not only entertained the audience but also contributed to the spirit of giving throughout the evening.
